FAO launches web site on rural radio
The Communication for Development Group at FAO recently launched a new web site with information on rural radio in developing countries.
According to the site: "Rural radio is a vital communication tool, particularly in Africa." "It promotes the exchange of views, brings people closer together, stimulates information, and enhances the value of local know-how."
In English, French and Spanish, the web site brings together news, publications, information on workshops and training - as well as a set of online photographs from the FAO MediaBase.
