Animal welfare information update

The Animal Welfare Information Center (AWIC) at the National Agricultural Library has launched a redesigned web site featuring a new browse structure and Google search engine making it easier to locate information on a wide variety of animal care and use topics. The Center is mandated to provide information for improved animal care and use in research, testing, teaching, and exhibition.

Visitors can browse for information on subjects like Research Animals, Farm Animals, or Government and Professional Resources or use the search engine to quickly locate information on a specific topic. The site provides access to all AWIC publications, news articles, regulatory information from USDA-Animal Care, and numerous links to sites providing information on animal welfare. It's also possible to visit the AWIC blog and access news from the Center via RSS Feeds.
