Knowledge networks in agriculture focus of GTZ bulletin
The July issue of the Knowledge Systems for Rural Areas Bulletin published by GTZ in Germany brings together articles about various networking models from the rural and agricultural development sector.
The PDF file includes articles on: the Global Donor Platform for Rural Development that connects over 25 donors seeking to fight rural poverty; the process of network building and success criteria of the Agriculture, Trade and Development Network; the Neuchatel Initiative - a network of donors working on agricultural extension; a knowledge management in rural development initiative called 'Linking Local Learners' that combines face to face action learning with online peer to peer sharing of ideas; and success criteria of the INTER-RESEAUX network offering a platform to exchange ideas in rural and agricultural development in Africa.
