USDA report on farm computer usage

The USDA recently released a report on Farm Computer Usage and Ownership.

he survey shows that "a total of 59 percent of U.S. farms now have Internet access, compared with 57 percent in 2007. Sixty-four percent of farms have access to a computer in 2009, the same level as 2007."

The 2009 computer usage estimates are based on responses from 31,495 agricultural operations and represent all sizes and types of farms.
