Improving farm livelihoods through exchange of local agricultural content in Uganda
In the May 2006 issue of the KM4D Journal, Ednah Karamagi Akiiki introduces the work of the Collecting and Exchange of Local Agricultural Content (CELAC) Project in Uganda. The project works in close partnership with government and civil society to promote knowledge sharing and information management of local agricultural content using various ICTs. Ednah outlines some of the challenges faced - including information hoarding, information overflow and the differing susceptibility of people to change.
