Advanced training course on Scientific and Technological Information Management in Universities and Libraries
In October 2008, the Free University of Brussels organizes the 8th Active Training course on information management in Belgium.
The main aim and goal of this 10-week International Training Program is to offer a stimulating learning environment to the participating young scientists and professionals who have a function as information intermediary in the area of science and technology. It will sharpen their skills in collecting, storing, retrieving, presenting and managing information.
The course has 20 places. The Belgian government will sponsor up to twelve for participants from developing countries. Full information on the course content and registration formalities are on the web site.
