e-Agriculture Week in Rome
In September 2007, FAO, IAALD, CTA, CGIAR, IFAD and other partners are joining forces in a series of meetings in Rome.
The official launch of the e-agriculture.org web site will be one of the many events taking place during e-Agriculture Week: 21-28 September 2007.
The highlight will be the Web2forDev Conference focusing on ways that stakeholders in agriculture and rural development can make use of the new technologies, called ‘Web 2.0,’ that are making the internet more interactive and participatory.
The week will conclude with an open meeting on 28 September entitled, 'e-Agriculture - From Dialogue to Action.'
